Spence and I were best friends growing up in Swan Valley. I have a lot of great memories of the "stay overs" we used to share. I haven't seen Spence since he sold me a house over 20 years ago but I think of him often. I'm sure glad I can call him "friend" and I will never forget him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

To Spences' family:
I am so sorry for your loss. I spent one of the most amazing Summers of my life working for Spence and Linda at South Fork Lodge. Spence was an amazing man. I believe if a person can leave this world having made it a better place, than they are successful. I know Spence made this a better world not just for his family and friends, but for anyone that ever knew him.
I consider myself blessed for knowing Spence. I will miss you buddy.

I am so sorry to hear about my friend Spence. I can't tell you many laughs we had together over the years. I was fortunate to meet Spence in College at Utah State Universtity and to play football with him while attending. I had the great pleasure to visit the Swan Valley Lodge owned by his family. Spence always knew where the elk and fish were and I will never forget him. We also had a few beers together on more than one occassion and traveled to Guatemala fishing. My trips to Idaho won't be the same anymore. Our condolences to Linda and the Family.
Sincerely, Dave and Kathy Cox, Las Vegas, Nevada
