Houston Brown (Gonzalez)

Houston Dennis Ridge Brown, aka Houston Gonzalez, 31, of Idaho Falls, passed away September 14, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Houston was born November 1, 1994, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Dennis Brown and Ylda Vestal. He grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Skyline High School in 2013.

Houston made his home in Idaho Falls, where Houston worked in various fields, including the food industry, with livestock, and at a local carwash.

He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He enjoyed video games, remote control cars, helping his grandfather work on cars, and hanging out with his cousins. He loved his boy, Horrus, his Saint Bernard. During camping season, he liked to go shooting with his sister and brother-in-law. He also enjoyed car shows and driving Abuelo’s Bonneville.

Houston is survived by his sister, Marina (Tyrel) McRae of Idaho Falls, ID; aunt, Berta (Tom) Dargie of Idaho Falls, ID; grandmother, Josephine Gonzalez of Idaho Falls, ID; grandmother, Dorothy Brown of Idaho Falls, ID; and his only nephew, Bowman McRae of Idaho Falls, ID.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis Brown and Ylda Vestal; uncle, Jacinto Gonzalez; grandfather, Jesus Gonzalez; and grandfather, Ralph Brown.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
