Straub - 08/27/2002 HILDAGART STRAUB IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Hildagart Sophia Straub, 93, of Idaho Falls, died August 25, 2002, at her home at Mallory House from natural causes. She was born July 8, 1909 in Urbana, Champaign County, Illinois to Louis Karl Johan Bachmann andEmilie Ebert Bachmann. She grew up and attended schools in Urbana. She married Albert Frederick Straub on January 13, 1934 in Urbana, Illinois and subsequently livedin Seattle and Arizona before moving to Idaho Falls. She was a homemaker and mother. Herhusband preceded her in death September 27, 1963. She was an active member of the Lutheran Church. Surviving are:Son: Robert Straub, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Ellen (Floyd) Olson, CABrother: Harold Bachmann, AZSister: Eleanor Thompson, IL6 Grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandchild. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2002, at the Wood East Side Chapel, 963 South Ammon Road. The family will visit with friends on Thursday beginning at 10:30 a.m. at Wood East Side Chapel. Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
