Herta (Fehres) Bradford

Herta  Bradford, 77, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 6, 2021, at The Gables of Idaho Falls.  She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

Herta was born January 11, 1944, in Homburg, West Germany, to Adolf Karl Fehres and Emma Ida Sofie Fehres. She grew up and attended schools in Germany and moved to the United States after her marriage.

On January 14, 1966, she married Lewis Bradford in Homburg, West Germany. Herta worked as a cashier in the commissary at McCord AFB, where she received an award of recognition for her good work.

She was a member of Lutheran Church. She liked everyone. She enjoyed crochet, cross stitch, and taught her grandchildren to do both. She made many blankets for all of her grandkids.

Herta is survived by her loving Gables of husband, Lewis Bradford of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Angelic (Gerry) Pinero of Tacoma, WA; and daughter, Rachel (Dirk) Hoy of Idaho Falls, ID;  five grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lore Fehres and Ursel Baumann.
