Dearest Edna and family,
So sorry to hear you have lost Herb. What a special man he has been to all of us friends for years, so glad Karen (Stoddard) and I (Diona) came out to see you in June. As usual Herb teased me and made me laugh and glad we had taken the time to visit our friends. Great memories for all of us, they make up who we are I suppose. Just know he will always be remembered in a warm and fond way.
We will not be able to attend as we have to have Darcie back in Boise at BSU. Our thoughts are with you all.
Your friends,
Dick and Diona Johnson

There are times when I more fully realize that the human language is inadequate to sufficiently express feelings...I am so deeply saddened by your loss. Herb helped me in getting started with my own welding business and provided several business opportunities for me over the years. I’m so very glad to have had the opportunity to have known him, his loving and kind wife, as well as the great friendship I have enjoyed over the years with Herb Jr. and Kim, though we have all grown apart with our own small families over the years, Herb and Edna were always there and I knew if I ever needed anything, I could have counted on them. Thank you so very much for everything that you have ever done for me. Herb may you walk with God now and forever . . .

Dear Edna and family,
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss of Herb. I remember growing up out there in the trailer the park, and visiting the store and with Herb, I will always remember the hard time that Herb gave me. And how much fun I had growing up out there. May God Bless you and your family at this time of need. I lost a daughter two years ago due to heart problems, so I understand how hard this for you.
