Henry Joseph Rodriguez

Henry Joseph Rodriguez, 87, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 12, 2020, at his home. He was under the care of Hands of Hope Hospice and his loving children.

Henry was born July 10, 1933, in New York, New York, to Enrique Rodriguez y Rosario and Luisa Quiles y Rosario Rodriguez. He grew up and attended schools in New York City and graduated from Harren High School in 1951.

Henry served in the US Navy earning the ranking of a Machinist Mate 3rd Class.

On September 20, 1958, he married Zelma Rodriguez in New York. Henry worked as a Corporate Real Estate Supervisor prior to his retirement. Zelma passed away in 2014.

He was a member of the Catholic church. Henry was a devoted husband and father. He loved raising his three children.

Henry is survived by his loving daughter, Alexis (Chris) Hott of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Lori Ann (David) Salmon of Belford, NJ; son, Jason (Darlene) Rodriguez of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Elsie Borras of New York, NY; and 5 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Rodriguez, parents, and sister, Sally Molinary.

Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. The services will be broadcast live to this page.
