HENRY BLOWER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Henry Blower, 85, of Idaho Falls,
died April 14, 2004, at the Idaho Falls Care Center while under the care
of Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
He was born September 3, 1918, at Sewickley (Scothaven),
Pennsylvania, to Earl Blower and Margaret Caroline Averill Blower. He
grew up and attended schools in Pennsylvania and Michigan. He served in
the U.S. Army as a Private First Class during World War II.
On April 24, 1945, he married Ida Schow in Salt Lake
City, Utah. They made their home in Brigham City and Salt Lake City before
coming to Idaho Falls eight years ago. On August 23, 1996, their marriage
was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. His wife passed away on
April 6, 2004. He worked at many jobs including barber, postal worker,
and telegrapher.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. He enjoyed traveling, long walks, humorous stories and writing
poetry with his wife, Ida. Henry was an avid fan of college football (especially
BYU) and golf.

Brother: David Edward (Judy) Blower, Harrisville, MI
11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; 2 brothers, Earl Blower and Thomas
Richard Blower; and 1 sister, Dorothy Ellen Blower.
Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 17,
2004, at the Brigham City 21st Ward (865 South 300 West), with Bishop
Fred Burr officiating. The family will meet with friends for one hour
prior to the services at the church.
Burial will be in the Brigham City Cemetery under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home East Side.
