HENRIETTA PETERSON
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Henrietta Ione West Peterson, 88, of Idaho Falls, passed away March 12, 2009, at Good Samaritan Society, Idaho Falls Village.
She was born February 20, 1921, in Ordway, Colorado to William West and Eva Wyatt West. She attended schools in Colorado, New Mexico, and Idaho. In the early 1960s, she worked at Bon Marche in Idaho Falls and also sold insurance for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. In 1966, she moved to Hawaii.
On December 29, 1966, she married Vaughn Green Peterson in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a devoted wife and mother.
Henrietta was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, golf, camping, and traveling with her husband. While living in Hawaii, she grew beautiful orchids and also completed training for a pilot's license enabling her to fly small planes.

Daughter: Jackie (Chuck) Bateman, Idaho Falls, ID
Daughter: Debra (Jerimiah) Williams, Honolulu, HI
Sister: Virginia McKinney, Lewiston, ID
7 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Steve Davis; a brother, Sonny West; and a son-in-law, David Holm.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge. The family will visit with friends from 1:30 until 2:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home.
