Helena May Hodges Farley, 80, passed away November 4, 2011, with her family at her side. She was under the care of Hospice of Eastern Idaho. She was born October 28, 1931 in Kasoag, New York to Alvah DeElton Hodges and Myrtle Helena House Hodges. Helena grew up in New York and lived there until the late 70's. She then moved to Colorado for a year and finally Idaho. She married Floyd Beechner and they had four children and they were divorced. She married William Thomas Farley in New York and then to Idaho Falls. They were married for 20 years before he passed away. Helena was a member of the Methodist Church. She loved fishing, sewing, crafts, cooking and the holidays. Her home was voted the best on the block for her Christmas decorations. Helena is survived by: Son, Lester (Mary Jane) Beechner of New York; Daughter, Charlotte (Jim) Van Patten of New York; Son, Gary (Rhonda)Beechner of Idaho Falls Daughter, Heidi (Rene) Martinez of Shelley, ID; Brother, Walter Hodges of New York; Brother, Richard Hodges of New York; Brother, Chuck Hodges of New York; Sister, Ann Asterman of New York; Two very close friends, Tom and Ruthann Lange of Idaho Falls, ID; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Hodges, sister, Elsie Barreta By her request private family services will be held at a later date.
