Helen Rene (Treece) Laniohan

Helen Rene Laniohan, 56, of Ammon, passed away December 30, 2019, at her home.

Rene was born August 4, 1963, in Stockton, California, to Donald Leroy Treece and Geraldine Pearl Willis Treece. She grew up and attended schools in Stockton, California, and graduated from AA Stagg High School.

She married Mark Edward Laniohan in Reno, Nevada. Rene and Mark made their home in Ammon, Idaho. Prior to retiring, she worked as a compliance officer for an insurance company. Mark passed away in July of 2017.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Rene is survived by her loving parents; daughter, Gerae (David) Lindsey of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Donald (Erika) Laniohan of Santa Rosa, CA; step-son, Marcus Laniohan of San Diego, CA; and 6 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Edward Laniohan; granddaughter, Dixie Lindsey; brother, Rex Treece; and grandparents, Rex and Gertrude Willis.

A private burial will be in the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise, Idaho.
