Helen Potter

Helen Louise Worrell Potter, 90, of Ammon, passed away December 7, 2016, at her home. Helen and her husband were under the care of her loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice. Helen was born December 29, 1925, to Kyle J Worrell and Cecil Faye Watts Worrell at the family home in St. Anthony, Idaho. She grew up and attended schools in the area. On July 4, 1943, she married Neldon Grant Potter in Rexburg, Idaho. They were sealed in the Logan LDS Temple on December 14, 1943. Helen and Neldon made their home in Goshen, Idaho, where Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in each organization of the church. She was also a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and had served as Captain. Helen enjoyed doing crafts and had a gift for loving others. Helen passed away one day prior to her loving husband of 73 years, Neldon Potter. She is survived by: daughter, Nancy I. Potter of Ammon, ID; daughter, Kathy Potter of Ammon, ID; daughter, Paula (Lee) Wright of Mt. Pleasant, UT; son, Steven Ross (Rebecca) Potter of Greeley, CO; brother, Don Worrell of Rexburg, ID; 5 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bob, Ed, and Harry Worrell. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016, at Wilford Cemetery.
