HELEN FULLENWIDER AMERICAN FALLS, ID -- Helen M. Fullenwider, 86, of American Falls, formerly of Idaho Falls, died June 29, 2004, at Harms Hospital in American Falls. She was born March 26, 1918, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Oscar Pontius Holm and Martha Elizabeth Johanson Holm. She grew up in the New Sweden area and attended schools there. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School. She married Erle Fullenwider December 26, 1938, in Idaho Falls. During her adult years she was a homemaker and mother. She and her husband owned and operated the New Sweden Grocery Store. She also worked in the offices of the New Sweden Grange and the Farm Bureau. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church. Helen served as President of the New Sweden PTA and was a member of the Farmers’ Wives Club. She was also a member of the Neighborly Neighbors Club that met twice a week with other west side ladies. She enjoyed traveling in their RV, camping and fishing, and especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Surviving are: Husband: Erle Fullenwider Daughter: Ann Feld, American Falls, ID Son: Larry (Eileen) Fullenwider, Fresno, CA Son: Brent (Sandy) Fullenwider, Gainsville, FL 10 Grandchildren, 24 Great Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 1, 2004, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, with Pastor Larry Cudmore of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in the New Sweden Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
