Heather June (Wilde) Reeder

Heather June Reeder, 46, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 13, 2023 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

She was born October 18, 1976, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Leslie Clarence Wilde and Terry Lee Johnson Wilde. She lived grew up in Shelley, Idaho and attended schools there. She has one sister, Mary, and two brothers, Brandon and Joseph.

Heather met Joseph Reeder in Shelley, Idaho. In 1996, they were blessed with a daughter, Alexis “Lexi”, and then years later in 2000, they were blessed with a son, Anthony. They were later divorced.

In August 4, 2016, Heather was blessed with a wonderful little grandson, Roman, whom she has cared for, home schooled, and gave him the love only a mother/grandmother could give. His anxiety and fear of going in public without her made the love and commitment she gave him a great blessing. She was so afraid how he was going to survive.

She worked in the food industry as a waitress.

Heather was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was one of the kindest and most caring persons who was always willing to give help and support anyone she knew, even if she had to go without herself. She was always trying to show and teach her children what service and kindness was all about.

She enjoyed camping, the outdoors, and special times including all activities with family and friends. She had many friends who loved her dearly.

Heather had a special bond with her deceased grandmother, Veda Lazzarotto, as she gave her a special birthday present being born on her birthday.

Sadly, Heather's health started to decline starting with diabetes for over 15 years. In conjunction within the last year her health started to decline due to heart problems and cancer. At the age of 46 she lost her battle and passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023.

She is survived by her loving children, Lexis Reeder and Anthony Reeder both of Idaho Falls, ID; mother Terry (Kenneth) Anderson of Chubbuck, ID; sister, Mary (Jerry) Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID; brothers, Brandon (Alice) Wilde of Idaho Falls, ID, and Joseph (Shantell) Wilde of Ririe, ID; and her grandson Roman.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents.

We just wanted to echo the sentiments of others who have said she is the kindest person they have known. Even though she won't be physically with us, Heather's influence and effect will stay with us forever.

The family will have a Celebration of Life at a later date.
