HAZEL M. TAWZER
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Hazel Marie Tawzer, 91, of Idaho Falls,
died November 16, 2003, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
She was born August 6, 1912, in Council Bluffs, Iowa,
to Charles Preston Tawzer and Ida Augusta Torneten Tawzer. As a child,
her family moved to Idaho, settling on a farm in Ammon. She attended school
in Ammon with her brothers, Elmer and Edwin, and later received her GED.
She lived with her parents throughout their lives and
cared for them until they passed away. In 1990, she moved from the family
farm to a condominium in Idaho Falls, and recently to Mallory House Assisted
Living Center, where she resided until the time of her death.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. She enjoyed taking care of her yard, loved flowers, made a variety
of ceramics and crafts, and crocheted beautifully. She enjoyed reading,
traveling and spending time with her family, especially nieces, nephews
and their families.

Brother: Edwin Bud (Phoebe Ann) Tawzer, Idaho Falls, ID
82 nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by a brother, Elmer Tawzer, two nieces and a
nephew.
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, November
20, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines (273 N. Ridge). The family will
meet with friends Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home and
Thursday for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home (273
N. Ridge).
Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction
of Wood Funeral Home.
