HATTIE L. DARLING
IDAHO FALLS, ID - Hattie LaVon Darling, 79, long time Idaho Falls resident, died October 14, 2005 at her home under the care of her daughter and Aspen Home Health & Hospice.
She was born May 2, 1926, in Rigby, Idaho, to Herbert Earl Campbell and Effie Elvina Bates Campbell. She attended schools in Rigby, graduating from Rigby High School.
She married Earl Darling May 1, 1943, in Idaho Falls, and the marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple August 3, 1956. She and her husband raised two daughters and she worked as a cook at the Idaho Potato Growers and for School District #91. Her husband preceded her in death January 31, 1991.
As a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she served as a primary teacher and in the Relief Society. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, walking for exercise and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

5 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren
Brothers: Art Campbell, Thomas Campbell and Kenneth Campbell;
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, a daughter, Pauline, and a granddaughter, Paula, and two sisters, Jane Moir and Lella Shurtliff.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 22, 2005, at the Idaho Falls LDS Parkwood Ward, 395 - 2nd Street, with Bishop C. Berger officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the church.
Burial will be in the Rigby-Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
