Harvey Mccullah

Harvey Burns McCullah, 65, of Idaho Falls, passed away on October 31, 2011, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 8, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Harvey Burns McCullah and Celia E. Graham McCullah. He graduated from Leuzinger High School in Lawndale, California. Harvey served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. In May of 1968, he married Janice May Sheere in California. She preceded him in death. In November of 2004, he married Cindy Simpson in Idaho Falls. She also preceded him in death. He worked as a metal plater for Northrup Electronics. In his youth, Harvey enjoyed surfing and later enjoyed making model ships and collecting knives. He especially loved his grandchildren and spending time with them. Survivors are: Daughter: Darlene (Dan Purkiss) Perigan, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Sherry McCullah, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Harvey (Wendy Godinho) McCullah, Idaho Falls, ID Sister: Cheryl (Jerry) Boshear, Hawthorne, CA 10 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild He was preceded in death by his parents and his two wives. Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge).
