Harry Williams

Harry Robert Williams, 70, of St. Anthony, Idaho passed away November 3, 2017, at his home.

Harry was born June 29, 1947, in East Haven, Connecticut, to Miller Laver Williams and Dottie Fitzsimmons Williams. He grew up in Idaho Falls and graduated from Bonneville High School. He joined the U.S. Marines and served in the Vietnam War.

On May 27, 1973, he married Jonna Stieger (Kelley) in Thousand Springs, Idaho. They were later divorced. On December 16, 1989, he married Tawna Wilson in Idaho Falls, Idaho. They were later divorced. Harry made his home in St. Anthony and worked as a long haul truck driver and also as a construction worker.

He had been a member of a four wheel drive club. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching Nascar, loved to hunt, trap fish, and was an awesome golfer. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and was the best Papa ever.

Harry is survived by son, Cody M. Williams of Boise, ID; daughter, Heather Williams of Idaho Falls, ID; and 3 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, John Williams and Rusty Williams; and stepmother, Jean Williams. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2017, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends on Friday from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.

Military rites will be performed following the services by the Marine Honor Guard.
