Harry Victor Rigoulot, a Jehovah Witness and resident of Idaho Falls, passed away from natural causes in the early hours of Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was 76 years old.
Beloved husband and father, Harry, was born June 8, 1941, in Victor, Idaho. He was the youngest of six children born to Marcel Victor Rigoulot and Audrey Bernice Sewell.
He met a young and beautiful woman from California who had moved to Idaho Falls. He married Beverly June Thornsbrough on September 9, 1961. They had five children.
Harry was a strong, hard-working man who loved his family. He was born and raised in Idaho and was seldom seen without his cowboy hat and boots. He loved westerns and collecting old coins that he just knew one day would be worth a lot. He was the go-to man if you needed a splinter gently removed or a tough knot untangled, whether it was a necklace, shoelace or rope. He loved his animals and was happiest living on acreage slopping pigs and tending to rabbits. He was a friendly man who was always bumping into someone he knew when running errands. Therefore, there was no such thing as a "quick trip" to the store for Harry. He loved to drive and was a firm believer that a man could never have too many tools. He will be missed by all who know him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his four brothers, his youngest daughter, Angelia, and Beverly, his beloved wife of 55 years.
Harry is survived by his four children, Harry (Beth) Rigoulot Jr., Robert Rigoulot, Johnny (Gilda) Rigoulot, and Tammy (Gary) Webster, as well as two of his grandchildren, Ashley (John) Herndon and Danielle King, to whom he was also a father. Harry is also mourned by his 15 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren and his sister, Lillian Stagee. Services will be held at a later date.
