HARRIET (PAT) OLDHAM IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Harriet Verna Burt Oldham, 82, of Idaho Falls, died April 6, 2006, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born October 6, 1923, at Salt Lake City, Utah, to Robert W. Burt and Katie Crowther Burt. She grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City, graduating from West High School. On August 13, 1945, she married John Henry Oldham in Garfield, Utah. He died in 1986. She was a mother and homemaker and had worked as a telephone operator and as a secretary for S. E. Furniture. The last four years, she has lived in Idaho Falls to be near her family. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions. She was also a member of Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She enjoyed crocheting, handiwork, reading, and playing board games with the family. Survivors are: Son: Wesley B. (Robin) Oldham of San Diego, CA Son: John C. (Debbie) Oldham of Idaho Falls, ID Brother: Orville “Corky” (Jena) Burt of Salt Lake City, UT Sister: Ruth Gale of Kaysville, UT 5 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 14, 2006, at the Taylorsville LDS First Ward, 4845 South Woodhaven Drive, Taylorsville, Utah. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church.
