Click Here To View Memorial Video Harold Ray Webb was born October 11, 1946 to Lewie Cleo and Saba Millsap Webb in Porter, Oklahoma. He spent most of his youth in Telluride, Colorado, and California, living his adult years in southeastern Idaho. He moved from Firth to Shelley six years ago, where he suddenly, yet peacefully passed away in his home from health complications on July 22, 2013, at age 66. Harold leaves behind a legacy of hard work and serving others, punctuated by his enlistment in the Navy and active-duty service in Vietnam. Not wanting to wait for the draft, Harold “fibbed” about his age and enlisted early, proudly serving his country for four years. A quick trip to visit his sister living in Idaho Falls would change the course of his life forever. It didn’t take long for a cute Idaho girl to convert Harold to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and talk him into relocating. On August 15, 1969, he married his sweetheart, Trina Metcalf in Idaho Falls. They were sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple. Harold worked hard all his life, and taught his children to do the same. Weekends were spent collecting wood, roofing homes, and doing yard-work for those in need. Many lives have been blessed at the hands of this great man. After his retirement from Argonne, Harold became a master gardener, patchwork-quilter, and food-preservation expert. He took pride in his beautiful garden, and was always ready to share his abundance of produce with anyone whose cars were unlocked during church. He had a keen eye for matching fabrics and his posterity are all blessed to own one of his quilting masterpieces. With Trina ever by his side (the two were inseparable), he enjoyed traveling, doing genealogy, and temple-work. Harold is survived by his best friend and eternal companion, Trina Metcalf Webb of Shelley, ID; six children, Heather (Robert) Jensen of Firth, ID; Quinn (Robyn) Webb of Shelley, ID; Sally (Jason) Burke of Ucon, ID; Aaron (J’Lene) Webb of Idaho Falls, ID; Randy (Jill) Webb of Idaho Falls, ID; and Michelle Webb of Idaho Falls, ID. He was the ever-playful and loving grandfather of 30, great-grandfather of 8, and was rarely found sitting in a chair. His place was on the floor surrounded by children, toys, and his handmade wooden cars and trains. Grandpas’ bellies make the best racetracks you know. He will be dearly missed.
