HAROLD D. COTNER, SR.
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Harold David Cotner, Sr., 94, of Ucon, died December 8, 2001, at his home of heart failure.
He was born November 7, 1907, at Pittston, Pennsylvania, to Clarence Edwin Cotner and Clara Herman Cotner. He attended grade school in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bloomsburg High School in 1927. He graduated from Rider College in Trenton, New Jersey in 1929 with a BS degree. He joined the New Jersey National Guard, where he served for three years and three months with the 112th Field Artillery.
He moved to Erie, Pennsylvania and married Winifred Coe on April 8, 1936, and worked at the Erie Sand & Gravel Company. They moved to San Bernardino, California in 1944, where he worked at the Kaiser Steel Company as a purchasing analyst and later for the City of San Bernardino. He retired in 1976 and his wife died later that year on November 3, 1976. He married Lucille M. Walgaert December 29, 1980, in California.
He was an active member of Grace St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Tucson, Arizona. He enjoyed gardening. He has been a day patient at Good Samaritan Center in Idaho Falls for several months.

Cotner, Tucson, AZDaughter: Barbara [Kevin] Covert, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Beverly [Percy] Green, Idaho Falls, ID 7 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his wife, Winifred Inez Cotner, and two sisters, Dorothy and Helen.
Private Family Services will be held.
Burial will be in the Grace St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Memorial Gardens in Tucson, Arizona.
