HAROLD LOVELAND Click here to view Video Tribute of Harold AMMON, ID -- Harold George Loveland, 83, of Ammon, died December 4, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. He was born April 27, 1924, in Evanston, Wyoming, to George Bertram Loveland and Ivora Nelson Loveland. His father died when he was two years old and his mother when he was four. He grew up in Fishhaven, Idaho, where he lived with his mother’s parents until their death. He graduated from Fielding High School in Paris, Idaho, and attended Weber College. He married Carrie Leah See and together they had five children. They were later divorced. He married Betty Young and they were later divorced. He worked as a building contractor. He has also lived in Labelle, but his heart belonged to Ammon. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge and served on the first Ammon City Council. He enjoyed golf, fishing, hunting, and flying his airplane. Survivors include: Son: Alan (Ellen) Loveland, Orem, UT Son: Steve (Val) Loveland, Ammon, ID Daughter: Debbie (Jim) Crumb, Ammon, ID Son: Robert (Paula) Loveland, Ammon, ID Sister: Meryle Smith, Fishhaven, ID 15 Grandchildren & 18 Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Ronald Loveland, a brother, Faye Loveland, and a grandson, Trevor Loveland. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, December 7, 2007, at the Ammon LDS 1st Ward, 3000 Central Avenue, with Bishop Jim Summers officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home. ------------------------------------
