HAROLD ARGYLE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Harold John Argyle, 82, of Idaho Falls, died November 6, 2005, at Idaho Falls Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born April 30, 1923, in Bancroft, Idaho, to John Argyle and Grace Potter Argyle. He grew up in the Blackfoot area, attended schools there and in 1941, graduated from Blackfoot High School. He joined the Army and served during World War II. Following his military service, he attended BYU, where he graduated with his Bachelor’s Degree in 1949. He married Rayma Jean Anderson on September 17, 1959, in Elko, Nevada. The marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple April 30, 1968. He worked as the Director of Security at the AEC. He retired in 1985. He worked in the Grid Kid Football program for 20 years and was a Russet Lions Club Member. At the time of his retirement he was a member of the Monarch Lions Club. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, he served in various callings, including Bishop and Stake Executive Secretary. He enjoyed flying, photography and especially loved being with his family. He is survived by his wife; Rayma Argyle of Idaho Falls, Son, Howard (Julie) Argyle of Pleasant Grove, UT; Son, Trent (Darlene) Argyle of Claremont, CA; Son, Morris (Stephanie) Argyle of Laramie, WY; Brother, Reed Argyle of Salt Lake City, UT; Brother, Don (Georgia) Argyle of Albuquerque, NM; Brother, Dean (Jan) Argyle of Challis, ID Sister, Ruth (Vern) Jackman of Salt Lake City, UT; 12 Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his brother, Dale Argyle Funeral Services will be at 12 Noon Friday, November 11, 2005, at the Idaho Falls 15th Ward, 2051 South Emerson, with Bishop Steven Parry officiating. The family will visit with friends Thursday from 6:30-8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge) and Friday for one hour prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery with Military Rites preformed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team. The family suggests memorial donations to the Development Workshop, 555 West 25th Street, Idaho Falls, ID 83402, or the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund, 50 East North Temple, Salt Lake City, UT 84150-1501. ___________________________________ Condolences sent: Gail Howick (kgfamily@comcast.net) Dear Rayma, Again, I am so sorry I couldn't make it to Harold's funeral. Keith said he was able to stop for a few minutes on Friday and represent us. A donation has been made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund in Harold's name.
