Hailey Corrine Queen, 25, of Ammon, passed away on December 6, 2021.
Hailey was born September 9, 1996, in Logan, Utah, to Matthew Scott Queen and Shonda Brolynne Bower Queen. Hailey grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls and graduated from Lincoln High School.
On September 26, 2020, she married Marcos Miguel Martinez in Las Vegas, Nevada. Hailey and Marcos made their home in Ammon, Idaho, where Hailey worked in maintenance for Idahoan.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Hailey had recently learned how to weld and loved the outdoors where she camped, fished, swam, and rode horses.
Hailey is survived by her parents, Shonda Brolynne Queen and Matthew Scott Queen of Ammon, ID; husband, Marcos Miguel Martinez of Idaho Falls, ID; her children, Kenzli Queen, Weylan Queen, and Anthony J. Martinez, all of Idaho Falls, ID; two brothers, Brandon Queen and Connor Queen, both of Idaho Falls, ID; sister, Courtney Queen-Prentiss; and brother-in-law, Aaron Prentiss of Idaho Falls, ID; and grandparents, Bruce and Glenda Bower of Topeka, KS.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Karen Watson Bower; and grandparents, Bernard Keith and D. Jean Queen.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the Ammon Stake Center, 2055 S. Ammon Road, with Bishop Shawn Going of the Ammon 25th Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends from 11-11:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Burial will be in the Ammon Cemetery.
