Hailey Fugleberg

Hailey Michelle Fugleberg, age 22, passed away peacefully in her sleep in Idaho Falls, Idaho, after a lifelong battle with a chronic illness. Hailey was born October 25, 1991, in Kirkland, Washington, to Duane W. Fugleberg Jr. and Jana Jo Hudson Fugleberg. She lived in Edmonds, Washington, for several months until her family moved to Idaho Falls in 1992. Hailey grew up in Idaho Falls and attended Linden Park Elementary, Sunnyside Elementary, Taylorview Junior High, and Idaho Falls High School. While attending Sunnyside Elementary, Hailey took a very hard fall on the bars and severely damaged her pancreas. As a result, she had been battling this illness and all of the issues connected to it the remainder of her life. Hailey attended Idaho State University and was working at The Cellar as a hostess at the time of her death. Hailey was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved all animals, especially her horse Indy, her cat Suzie, and her dogs, Gunner, Piper and Mika. She embodied the term perseverance and was an inspiration to all who knew her. We will surely miss our sweet “Hailey Bailey.” Hailey is survived by her parents, Duane & Jana Fugleberg of Idaho Falls; brother, Jason Russell Fugleberg, his wife Ashley, and their children Jensen and Zoe of E. Millinocket, ME; brother, Nicholas Scott Fugleberg and wife Janeen of Idaho Falls; sister, Brooke Janae Fugleberg of Idaho Falls; sister, Abriele (Abby) Jordyn Fugleberg of Idaho Falls; brother, Carson Duane Fugleberg of Idaho Falls; grandparents, Glenn & Linda Hudson of Iona; grandparents, Keith & Reah Clark of Seattle, WA; Aunts, uncles, cousins, and her very best friend, Megan Arnold. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2014, at the Idaho Falls LDS Taylorview Ward, 1294 West 6500 South, with Bishop Dennis Pond conducting. The family will visit with friends at a viewing from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the services at the church. Ridge) and on Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery.
