H. Marie Mcconnell

Hazel Marie McConnell, 90, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 28, 2017, at Fairwinds Sandcreek Senior Living Center. She was under the care of One Source Hospice.

Marie was born October 20, 1926, near Oberlin, Kansas, along with her twin sister, Marian, to Glenn and Laura Area.

Marie’s life was long and blessed with family and many wonderful friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wayne; son, Garth; as well as her brother, Harold L. Area and twin sister, Marian Howland.

She is survived by her son, Glenn (Reva) of Mackay, Idaho; grandsons, Jake and Mike; granddaughters, Nichole and Jana; and great grandchildren, Jessie, Ben, Vincent, Taylor, Grace, and Justin.

At Marie’s request, no services will be held and cremation has taken place.

Marie would have appreciated any donations in her name to the Snake River Animal Shelter, Idaho Falls, Idaho.
