Gwenda Sue Pierce Plaisance

Gwenda Sue Pierce Plaisance, 73, of Idaho Falls, passed away April 26, 2026, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Gwenda was born on April 25, 1953, in Lakeport, California, to Glen Pierce and Lois Doty.

She grew up in Hayward, California, with her siblings, Judy, John, and Marcy.

Gwenda had two children, Norris Plaisance III and Nicole Coverstone.

She moved to Idaho in 2005 to be close to her daughter and her beloved grandchildren, Savannah, Spencer, Bridger, and Evan.

Gwenda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed visiting friends and family, going to church, and sewing.

Private family services will be held.
