Gwen Irene Regier, 81, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2026, in Seaside, Oregon.

Gwen was born on May 29, 1944, in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Throughout her life, she was known for her kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and unwavering devotion to her family.

She was preceded in death by her son, Butch Schluter.

Gwen is survived by her children, Penny Mundell, Terrie Smith, and Travis Regier, along with many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy and pride.

For many years, Gwen worked as a caregiver, dedicating her life to helping others. She often joked that she was caring for people the same age as herself, but beneath the humor was a genuine heart for service. She had a gift for making people feel cared for and valued, and she would gladly give the shirt off her back to help someone she loved.

Gwen was known for her quick wit, playful teasing, and ability to make people laugh. Whether she was telling jokes, sharing stories, or simply spending time with family, she brought warmth and joy to those around her. Her family was the center of her world, and she worked tirelessly throughout her life to provide them with the best life possible.

More than anything, Gwen will be remembered for her generous spirit, her laughter, and the deep love she had for her family. Her legacy lives on through the many lives she touched and the family she cherished so dearly.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Rose Hill Cemetery.
