Guy Steadham

Guy Thomas Steadham left us after a short struggle with heart disease, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. His sons were by his side.

He was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho, on December 9, 1956. He died January 25, 2018. He was 61 years old at the time of his passing.

Guy was an electrician for most of his career until an accident changed his path. Being self employed most of his life, he then began a small business of detailing cars. The path changed again when he began the job he enjoyed most, which was his last, as a supervisor for an out of state building company.

Guy had four loves: family, home, his dog, Rusty, and fishing. He never missed a chance to go fishing or to walk his dog. The Snake River was his second home.

The generous smile that Guy shared with everyone will be sorely missed, along with the garden grown and shared by Guy.

Guy is survived by his life partner, Deanna Richards; his two sons, Chris (Danielle) Steadham and Curtis (Kaylee) Steadham; his five beloved grandchildren, Alyssa, Jace, Leah and Parker; his siblings, Lorna Moore (Dwight) Caldwell, Nancy (Bert) Woolf, Lynn (Vicki) Steadham, Randy (Lori) Steadham, Bonnie Moore and Duwayne Kirkham.

Guy was preceded in death by his mother, Martha (Clifford) Messick; brothers, Derrel and Don Moore; sister, Sharon Kirkham; stepbrothers, Lamont, Gordon, and Darwin Messick; and stepsister, Janice Messick.

A gathering for friends and family will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 9, 2018, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
