Guadalupe Acosta Ramirez

Guadalupe Acosta Ramirez, 48, of Idaho Falls, passed away August 7, 2018, at her home in Idaho Falls.

Guadalupe was born May 26, 1970, in Zimapan hidalgo, Mexico, to Galdino Acosta and Olimpia Ramirez Acosta.

She met Ignacio Estrada in 1993, and to this union were born four children, Carlos, Ivette and Edaena and Liliana. Guadalupe and Ignacio made their home in Idaho Falls, Idaho, where Guadalupe worked as a cook for Puerto Vallarta.

She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She loved being a wife, mom and grandma and went out of her way to help everyone.

Guadalupe is survived by her loving husband, Ignacio Estrada of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Carlos Estrada of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Ivette (Ignacio Garza) Estrada of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Edaena Acosta of Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Liliana Hernandez Acosta, OR; sister, Esperanza (Baldomero) Acosta Ramirez; sister, Susana (Jose) Acosta Ramirez; sister, Joaquina (Alberto) Acosta Ramirez; sister, Margarita (Oscar) Acosta Ramirez; brother, Damaso Vizueth Ramirez; brother, Santiago Resendiz Ramirez; brother, Guillermo Vizueth Ramirez; and grandson, Javier Garza Estrada.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 145 9th Street in Idaho Falls, with Father Carlos, officiating. A Rosary will be held Sunday at 6:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue in Idaho Falls, with a visitation to follow until 8:00 p.m.
