Greta Adam

Greta Irene Deros Adam, 79, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 6, 2011 at her home in Idaho Falls. She was under the care of Idaho Home Health & Hospice. Greta was born January 20, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Peter Olof Deros and Gwenvier Pedersen Deros. She was raised in Pekin, Illinois, later lived in Norfolk, Virginia, and came to Idaho Falls 36 years ago. She married John M. Adam and they were later divorced. Greta worked as a Payroll Clerk for Bonneville County. Greta is survived by her Daughter, Renee Adam of Durango, CO, Daughter, Anna Eldredge of Idaho Falls, ID; Son, Kristian Adam of Ashton, ID; Brother, Roy Deros of UT, Brother, Engolf Deros of Camas, UT; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Marie, and a granddaughter, Jamie. At her request, no public services will be held. The family will visit with friends from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2011, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls.
