Gregory Herndon

GREGORY L. HERNDON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Gregory Lynn Herndon, 41, of Idaho Falls, died October 19, 2003, at his home. He was born September 11, 1962, at Idaho Falls, to Marvin Robert Herndon and Dorthetta Jean Allgood Herndon. He attended Temple View and Emerson Elementary schools, Eagle Rock Junior High, and graduated in 1980 from Skyline High School. On November 9, 1983, he married Shawna Morgan in Idaho Falls. They were later divorced. He worked various jobs throughout his life, including 13 years as a forklift operator and assistant foreman at Basic American Foods. At the time of his death, he was working for Anderson Cabinets in Ririe. He was a Christian and loved to read the Bible. He enjoyed bowling, playing the guitar, arm wrestling, and performing magic tricks. Surviving are: Parents: Marvin and Jean Herndon, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Corey Herndon, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Jacob Herndon, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Lacey Herndon, Idaho Falls, ID Son: Joey Robertson, Rexburg, ID He was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Herndon Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m Friday, October 24, 2003, at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge). The family will visit with friends Thursday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and Friday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in New Sweden Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home.
