Grace Meikle

GRACE MEIKLE IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Grace Hobbs Meikle, 89, of Idaho Falls, died June 14, 2006, at her home. She was born September 22, 1916, at Salt Lake City, Utah, to James Hobbs and Matilda Hansen Hobbs. She grew up and attended schools in the area. Following graduation from high school, she attended Utah State University in Logan, Utah. On September 21, 1942, she married Frank Meikle in Logan, Utah. She was a mother and homemaker as well as a news reporter for the Salt Lake City Deseret News. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed playing golf and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors are: Husband: Frank Meikle, Idaho Falls, ID Daughter: Carolyn Bennett, Virginia 2 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 16, 2006, at the Idaho Falls LDS Shadow Mountain Trail Ward (3721 Shadow Mountain Trail) with Bishop John Strobel officiating. The family will visit with friends Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
