Gordon Mckinney

GORDON MCKINNEY DOVER, MD -- Gordon H. McKinney, DDS, age 92, a resident of Dover for 43 years, died on Saturday afternoon, February 7, 2009, at Caritas Norwood Hospital in Norwood. Born in Montreal, Canada, on June 25, 1916, he was a son of the late Hugh C. and Sarah E. (Lavery) McKinney. He graduated with a Degree in Dental Surgery from McGill University in Montreal and then served as a captain with the Royal Canadian Army in Britain during World War II. Dr. McKinney practiced dentistry in Montreal and then Boston prior to establishing a private practice in Weston. He remained in Weston until his retirement in 1985. He will be greatly missed by his family. Predeceased by a son, Gordon H. McKinney, Jr., he is survived by his wife of 54 years, Patricia A. (Thompson) McKinney, two sons, David T. McKinney of Chino, CA, and Hugh C. McKinney and wife Jeanette of Idaho Falls, ID, and eight grandchildren: Fulton, Ethan, Wade, Cassandra, Rosalie, Rick, Marissa, and Jack. Funeral services will be private. Local arrangements are through Roberts-Mitchell Funeral Service, 15 Miller Street, Medfield, MA Burial will be in Ammon Cemetery, Ammon, Idaho, under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 N.
