Gloria Jensen

Gloria Pond Jensen, 92, of Idaho Falls, passed away on December 22, 2015, at Morning Star Assisted Living Center.

She was born July 12, 1923, in Lewiston, Utah, to C. Angus Pond and Rella Titensor Pond. The family moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she attended local schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School. On October 22,1941, she married Francis Lee Jensen in the Salt Lake City Temple. To this union were born three children, Dayle, Jann, and Matthew. She and Francis were divorced in 1992.

Gloria worked as a secretary at the Bank of Idaho and later at Rogers Brothers. At the age of 50, she began her career as a realtor at the Hartwell Corporation, then at Gloria Jensen Realty until her retirement after more than twenty years.

Gloria was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed golf, skiing, dancing, and playing bridge.

Survivors include her daughter, Dayle Stanger, Idaho Falls, ID; daughter, Jann Cushman, Gresham, OR; and son, Matthew (Karen) Jensen, Idaho Falls, ID.

Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, January 7, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to the services at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
