Gloria Mae Dial Cunningham, 70, of Ammon, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2012, at her home after a valiant battle against cancer.
She was born November 17, 1941, in Idaho Falls to Joe Earl Dial and Martha Esther Harker Dial. She attended schools in the area, graduating from Shelley High School. She also attended Hollywood Beauty School where she received her beautician’s license.
On April 20, 1962, she married her eternal companion, Garth Ralph Cunningham, in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. This year they would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed being a homemaker and worked with School District 93's lunch program for 14 years.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served faithfully throughout her life in various callings in the church. Gloria enjoyed sewing, traveling, and various outdoor activities, including white water rafting, snowmobiling, and side-by-side adventures. She especially loved being with her husband and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012, at the Ammon LDS Foothills Stake Center (3934 East 49 South) with Bishop Scott Woolstenhulme, of the Ammon 28th Ward, officiating. The family will visit with friends on Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home East Side (963 S. Ammon) and on Monday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to the services at the church.
