Glenna Luce, 81, of Ucon, passed away February 26, 2016, at home, surrounded by her children. She was under the care of Encompass Home Health and Hospice. Glenna was born December 13, 1934, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to George Bernard Simpson and Thelma Winn. She grew up and attended schools in Salt Lake City and graduated from East High. She married Patrick Briggs, they were later divorced. On November 3, 1962, she married Kenneth Leroy Luce in Reno, Nevada. Together they raised 12 children, Cris, Anna, David, Alan, Janet, Dennis, Rose, Shauna, Kathy, Jennie, Kenny, and Sylvia. Kenneth and Glenna made their home in Ucon, Idaho. She was very spiritual. She enjoyed her flowers. She loved Indian culture, as well as the Denver Broncos and the Utah Jazz. She loved her dogs and Fort Hall, but most of all, she loved her family. Glenna is survived by daughter, Cris (Arden) Bell of St. Anthony, ID; daughter, Anna Puckett of West Jordan, UT; son, David Luce of Ucon, ID; son, Alan Luce of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; daughter, Janet McAllister of Pahrump, NV; son, Dennis (Cari) Luce of Ucon, ID; daughter, Rose Miller of Valencia, CA. daughter, Shauna (Todd) Thomas of Stansbury Park, UT; daughter, Kathy (Terry) Tracy of Ucon, ID; daughter, Jennie Luce of West Valley, UT; son, Kenny Luce of Ucon, ID; daughter, Sylvia (Dave) Long of Blackfoot, ID; 23 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Leroy Luce; parents, George and Thelma Simpson; granddaughter, Stephanie Perrenoud; sister, Bernus Thornberry; and brother, David Simpson. A gathering will be held at 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2016, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 South Ammon Road.
