Glenn Allen Davenport II, 25, of Idaho Falls, passed away on September 16, 2016, at his home.
Glenn was born in Huntsville, Alabama on December 27, 1990, the first son of Glenn and Annette Davenport, now of Idaho Falls. He was a happy and precocious child with a thirst for knowledge and justice, and gifted with artistic, musical, and strategic talent. He delighted to dance and shout before God when those around him freely could not. His company and conversation could enlighten, and his interests were wide and varied. His accomplishments included military service in the US Navy. Glenn is survived by siblings Travis Davenport (24), AnneDanielle Camptell (22) and Joshua Davenport (20), as well as niece Aria Camptell (3) and brother-in-law Domini Camptell (22). Few people knew the depth of his heart and soul, because of acquired necessity he felt the need to guard himself from most. We who truly knew him, however, will never forget what he brought and added to our lives. He lives as part of us. We have peace knowing that God did not take him from us. This family knows without doubt or hesitation that Glenn is with The Conscious God of Creation. Through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God accepts Glenn into an eternity where he can joyfully shout and dance as freely as he wants. We wish you such peaceful confidence.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, September 23, 2016, at Watersprings Church (4250 South 25th East). The family will visit with friends on Friday from 12-12:45 p.m. prior to the services at the church.
