Glenn E. Gould - 12/22/2001 Glenn E. Gould - 12/22/2001 GLENN ELIOT GOULD IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Glenn Eliot Gould, 68, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, died December 21, 2001, at the Idaho Falls Care Center. He was born May 3, 1933 in Idaho Falls to Carl Gould and Mabel Ellen Dodson Gould. He attended O. E. Bell Jr. High, Idaho Falls High School, and after serving in the Army, he attended Ricks College. He served as a Master Staff Sargent in the Army during the Korean conflict and was a lifelong member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disabled American Veterans. Except for two years in Pocatello, he lived in Idaho Falls until the time of his death. He married Scharolette Cleverley on May 2, 1953 in Idaho Falls. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for the 116th Battalion Engineers and for Ready to Pour Concrete in Idaho Falls. She preceded him in death December 12, 1998. He was a member of the Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, sharing jokes and square dancing. Surviving are:Daughter: Brenda Meyer, Idaho FallsGranddaughter: Connie Meyer (Dracy) Taylor, Idaho FallsGranddaughter: Debbie Meyer (Terry) Payton, Idaho FallsSister: Gloria Eshom, Homeland, CABrother: Robert “Bob” Gould, Pocatello3 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 27, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Bishop Kerry Cooper of the Kearney LDS 2nd Ward officiating. The family will visit with friends on Wednesday from 6-7:00 p.m. and for one hour prior to services on Thursday at Wood Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
