Glenn Adam Christy, III, 57, passed away peacefully Friday, Sept. 30, 2016, at his home at The Gables Assisted Living Facility. He was under the care of Encompass Hospice.

Glenn was born Jan. 10, 1959. Glen spent four years serving with the Marine Corps. He loved to hunt, fish and go camping. He loved to plant flowers and always had a garden.

Glenn was known as "Two Eagles" to his friends. We would like to believe he is now soaring with the eagles.

Glenn will truly be missed by many friends who had the opportunity to get to know him over the years.

Glenn is survived by seven sisters and one brother: Twila Lettman of Wisconsin, Jackie Christy of Wisconsin, Janet Christy of Wisconsin, Christine Lee of South Carolina, Bobbi Jo of North Carolina, Jean Molden of North Carolina, Rhonda Lightner of North Carolina and Clarence Christy of Idaho. Glenn has 23 surviving nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Glenn Adam Christy, Jr., who passed away in March of 1980. Glenn's mother, Sharon, and her husband, Jack Walters, are from Newton Grove, N.C.

Glenn's family extends their deepest gratitude to all of Glenn's friends and neighbors who visited him and the staff at The Gables Assisted Living Facility.

There will be a celebration of Glenn's life at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 22, at The Gables Assisted Living Facility, 1405 Curlew St., in Ammon.

Glenn's ashes will be scattered where the fish swim and the eagles soar, as per his request.
