Glender Lewis - 10/19/2001 Glender Lewis - 10/19/2001 GLENDER JEAN LEWIS IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Glender Jean Lewis, 67, of Idaho Falls, died October 18, 2001, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. She was born November 28, 1933 at St. James, Jamaica to James Sterling and Vivilyn Ferguson Sterling. She attended schools in Jamaica. She lived in Jamaica for 37 years and has lived in Idaho Falls the last 30 years. She married Andy Lewis in Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death. She worked for Basic American Foods in Shelley. She was an active member of the Cornerstone Pentecostal Church for 30 years. She enjoyed assisting with fund raisers and the ladies groups. She also enjoyed fishing, working out at the gym and cooking. Surviving are:Daughter: Joy (Nerval) Kelly, Umatilla, ORSon: Cleave Lewis, Idaho Falls, IDDaughter: Natasha Lewis, Livermore, CADaughter: Jackie Kerr, Boise, ID5 Grandchildren5 brothers and 3 sistersShe was also preceded in death by a daughter, Delta Thorpe and a son, Maurice. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m Tuesday, October 23, 2001, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, with Pastor Mike Glaser of Cornerstone Pentacostal Church of the Pines officiating. The family will visit with friends for one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Wood Funeral Home, 273 North Ridge Avenue, Idaho Falls, Idaho 83402-4092.
