Glenda Kite

Reva Glenda Kite, 86, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, passed away July 25, 2012, at The Gables of Ammon Assisted Living Center. She was under the care of Aspen Home Health & Hospice. Glenda was born March 13, 1926, in Archer, Idaho, to John Wallace Clark and Floella Robison Clark. She grew up and attended schools in Lyman and graduated from Rigby High School. She also graduated from Ex-Cel-Sis Beauty School in Idaho Falls. She married Wilford Scott and they were the parents of one child, Gloria Dea, who later passed away. She married Lloyd Cook on October 7, 1955, in Lyman, Idaho, and they were blessed with one child, LaNae. They later divorced. On March 2, 1970, she married Richard “Dick” Kite in Idaho Falls. A wife, mother, and homemaker, Glenda also operated a beauty salon in her own home for several years. Dick passed away November 3, 2002. Glenda was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed dancing – especially the Jitterbug – candy making, and loved people. She was fun loving and her many nieces and nephews loved to have her come and babysit because she was so full of love and made them feel so loved. Glenda is survived by her daughter, LaNae (Bob) Hansen of Idaho Falls, ID; two sisters, Faye Frome of Bozeman, MT, and Gay Nell (Keith) Hinckley of Blackfoot, ID; 5 Grandchildren, and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Gloria Dea, two brothers, Bayne Clark and Pat Clark, and two sisters, Orlena Hall and Alta Rowberry. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at the Annis-Little Butte Cemetery. The family will visit with friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road. A special thanks to The Gables for their years of compassionate service, as well as Aspen Home Health & Hospice, for their devotion and loving care. Mom felt The Gables to be her home in later days.
