GLENDA KIMBRO Click here to view a video of Glenda's life IRWIN, ID -- Glenda Faye Park Kimbro, 64, of Irwin, passed away October 24, 2007, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, with her family at her side, after a courageous battle with amyloidosis. Glenda was born February 8, 1943, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Glen J. Park and Fay Margaret Weeks Park. She grew up and attended schools in Swan Valley and Idaho Falls. She married the love of her life, Terry Kimbro, on December 20, 1996, in Blackfoot, Idaho. His love and support pulled her through and kept her strong through her illness. They are true soul mates. Glenda was a homemaker, mother and grandmother, and retired from the INL in 2005 after 15 years of service. Glenda enjoyed the outdoors and lived life to the fullest every day. She was always upbeat and cared for others before herself even until the very end. Survivors include: Husband: Terry Kimbro of Irwin, ID Son: Jim Mangum of Ucon, ID Daughter: Sharee (Bryan) Sprague of American Falls, ID Son: Jeremy (Lisa) Mangum of Blackfoot, ID Stepson: Kris Kimbro of Alabama Stepson: Rick (Monica) Morrow of Georgia Sister: Terrie (George) Stromberg of Irwin, ID Brother: Marvin (Rayola) Park of Etna, WY Brother: Tom (Charlote) Park of Pocatello, ID Six Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild. She has also left behind many friends who loved her and whom she loved more than words can express. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2007, at the Chapel in the Valley in Swan Valley. The family will visit with friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge.
