Glenda (Smith) Howe

Glenda Howe, 62, of Idaho Falls, passed away June 15, 2022, at Teton Post Acute Care & Rehabilitation.

Glenda was born October 13, 1959, in Blackfoot, Idaho, to Leroy Smith and Olive Westover Smith. She grew up and attended schools in Blackfoot and attended Snake River High School.

On August 8, 1980, she married Steve Howe in Blackfoot, Idaho, where they made their home.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Glenda enjoyed camping, fishing, and taking care of her family.

Glenda is survived by her loving husband, Steve Howe of Blackfoot, ID; daughter, Tracy (Brian) Medrain of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Michael (Leah) Gandenberger of Blackfoot, ID; son, Steven Howe, Jr. of Blackfoot, ID; son, Darren Howe of Ammon, ID; sisters, Marilyn Bates of Twin Falls, ID and Fern (Grant) Reid of Rexburg, ID; and 4 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Myrna Smith and Colleen Waddoups; twin sister, Brenda Myers; and brother, Delroy Smith.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2022, at the Riverside-Thomas Cemetery.
