Glen Ray Robinson

Glen Ray Robinson, 77, passed away peacefully with wife, Tawna, by his side on 4 September, 2024, after a brief post-operative illness at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

Glen was born 14 December, 1946, in North Platte, Nebraska, to Otten Ray Robinson and Dona Lee Ayars. As a teenager, Glen moved West with the family and never left. He graduated from Blackfoot High School and Idaho State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Journalism.

Glen was a member of the Elks Club in Blackfoot, enjoyed fishing, hunting Upland Game and waterfowl. Glen served his country in Vietnam with the United States Army.

On June 12, 2003, Glen married Tawna Robinson in Blackfoot, Idaho. Glen and Tawna made their home in the Firth – Idaho Falls area where Glen worked for the Idaho National Engineering Laboratory. He had a deep and abiding love for all things canine, able to whisper to and learn from them at every interaction.

He had a large heart, always considering others first and foremost before thinking of himself. Glen’s humanity leaves a void that will remain forever, but he would ask that any of his memories are happy, not sad, warming our hearts and filling our souls with peace.

Glen leaves a wife, Tawna; step-son, Brandon Atwood; former wife, Tami; three children, Jenny (David) Hardy, Doug (Princess) Robinson, and Joe (Krista) Robinson; seven grandchildren; brothers, Lee (Carolyn) and Tony (Jana) Robinson.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe; infant brother and sister, Toby and Casey.

A private family service will be held at the grave site.
