Glen Johnson - 01/11/2002 Glen Johnson - 01/11/2002 GLEN JOHNSON IDAHO FALLS, ID -- Glen Johnson, 78, of Idaho Falls, died January 10, 2002, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Glen was born December 12, 1923 in Logan, Utah, to Moses L. Johnson and Eliza Jane Pulsipher Johnson. He grew up and attended South Cache High School. He was drafted into the U. S. Navy during World War II. He married Ruth Nyman June 30, 1944 in the Logan LDS Temple. They moved to Idaho Falls in 1950, where he worked as a carpenter for 40 years for various contractors. He retired in 1990. He repaired fishing rods and reels as a hobby and was a member of the Sportsmans Association. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and spending time with his family. Surviving are:Wife: Ruth Johnson, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Boyd Glenn Johnson, Shelley, IDSon: Lorin Kay (Judy) Johnson, Idaho Falls, IDSon: Dick Nyman (Tracey) Johnson, Shelley, IDDaughter: Glenda (Sam) Edwards, Idaho Falls, IDBrother: Earl Johnson, Logan, UTSister: Phoebe Shackelford, Bakersfield, CA11 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren.He was preceded in death by a son, Rodney William Johnson Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2002, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines. The family will visit with friends on Monday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and for one hour prior to the services on Tuesday, both at Wood Funeral Home. Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville County Veterans Team.
