GLEN E. BROWN
IDAHO FALLS, ID -- The Lord took Glen Eugene “Dutch”
Brown home with him December 18, 2003.
Glen was born September 25, 1927, in Idaho Falls, Idaho,
to Ben and Elizabeth Jahn Brown. He helped on the family farm until
joining the military. He proudly served his country during World War
II in the U. S. Army Air Force. He later received his pilot's license.
In his early life he enjoyed flying and hunting.
He married his true love, Dorothy Mitchell, February
14, 1949. They made their home in Idaho Falls and raised five children.
He worked in the gas industry before joining Sheet Metal Workers Union
Local 60, from which he retired in 1987. During retirement, he enjoyed
spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Daughter: Julie (Brant) Freeman, Homedale, ID
Brother: Lionel Brown, Idaho Falls, ID
Brother: Harold Brown
Sister: Velma John
17 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Loren Brown,
Donald Brown, and Doyle Brown.
Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December
22, 2003, at the Wood Chapel of the Pines, 273 North Ridge Avenue. The
family will visit with friends on Sunday from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and on
Monday for one hour prior to the services, both at Wood Funeral Home
(273 N. Ridge).
Military Rites will be performed by the Bonneville
County Veterans Team.
Burial will be in Fielding Memorial Park under the
direction of Wood Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks
that donations be sent to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of
Glen Brown.
