Gladys Martha Pearl Beisheim Weller, 95, longtime resident of New York, passed away August 27, 2011, at the home of her son, Gary, of natural causes. She was under the care of her loving family and Hands of Hope Hospice.
Gladys was born January 21, 1916, in Rochester, New York, to Gustave and Martha Pauline Bertha Koschnik Beisheim. She grew up in Rochester and graduated from Monroe High School.
She married Clayson William Weller in Rochester. To this union was born two children, Gail and Gary. They made their home in Rochester, then moved to Livonia, New York, when she was 35. Gladys was a dedicated wife, mother, and homemaker. Clayson passed away in March of 1984. She moved to Idaho three months ago to be near her son.
She was a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church. Gladys enjoyed sewing, knitting, gardening, ice fishing, family trips, and participating in the church choir.
Gladys is survived by her son, Gary (Anelle) Weller of Rigby, ID; five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, Gail, three brothers, and three sisters.
Services will be held in Geneseo, New York.
