Juanita Gladys Reynwald Gruvman, 96, of Blackfoot, passed away October 24, 2010 at her daughter’s home.
Gladys was born November 1, 1913 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to John Henry Reynwald and Juanita Sarah Reed Reynwald. She attended schools in New Sweden and Dewey.
She married Anton Ivan Gruvman on August 10, 1932 in Logan, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on May 26, 1942. They lived in Idaho Falls; Sloat, California; Vallejo, California; and Pocatello, Idaho. Gladys worked at the Westbank Motel and Roger Brothers Potatoes. Ivan preceded her in death on March 26, 1983.
She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Gladys enjoyed making home-made candy, crocheting, sewing, writing in rhyme, and reading. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four sisters; and one brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Wood Funeral Home, 273 N. Ridge Avenue. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., with both visitations at Wood’s. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
