She was a devoted wife to her husband, John, whom she loved deeply. They shared 16 meaningful years of marriage together, and she loved traveling with her husband, creating cherished memories wherever they went.
Gilda was a proud mother of three grown children, Warren, Ida, and Angie, and a loving stepmother to two stepchildren, Britt and Zach. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren: Sophia, Mia, Murphee, Zandra, and Nellie--whom she adored endlessly and lovingly called her "Nana."
Professionally, Gilda was a behavioral therapist, a role that reflected her compassionate heart and dedication to helping others. She touched many lives through her kindness, warmth, and understanding spirit.
Gilda had a beautiful voice and a deep love for singing, especially karaoke. She was truly the life of the party, bringing laughter, music, and joy wherever she went. Her presence could light up any room.
Gilda firmly believed in the promise from her God, Jehovah, that the dead will be resurrected. This precious hope brings great comfort to her family, assuring them that they will see her again in the near future, when "all things are made new." For now, Gilda is resting--sleeping peacefully--until Jehovah, through His Son, Jesus Christ, lovingly wakes her up.
She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever cherished.
